At Knowles-Duncan & Associates, we enjoy being a part of your family's lives and we are grateful for the trust that is placed in us for your health and well-being.

Dr. Judi Knowles-Duncan is a board-certified general psychiatrist with specialized training in child and adolescent psychiatry. In addition to the younger age groups, she has specific interests in mood disorders, anxiety disorders and womens health issues.

Originally from southern Indiana, Dr. Knowles-Duncan completed her biology degree at Indiana University Southeast in 1989. She is a graduate of the Indiana University School of Medicine as well, with residency training in psychiatry and subspecialty training in child and adolescent psychiatry.

Following completion of training, she spent nearly 8 years in community mental health in North Eastern Indiana, gaining experience in chronic mental illness, child abuse and neglect, and forensic psychiatry. She also cultivated an interest in supervision/administration, serving as medical director of Ball Memorial Hospital's Psychiatric Unit and the local mental health center. She felt the need to expand that interest in a larger setting as medical director at St. Vincent Stress Center, but subsequently reaffirmed her first true professional passion of patient care and hence formed Knowles-Duncan & Associates.
